Dede is a 35 year old Indonesian man who suffers from an extremely rare condition caused by HPV. The virus has led to warts that grow about 5 millimiters each month. The warts started growing when he was 15 years old after he accidentally cut his knee while working on a construction site. The warts have grown so long to give the appearance of roots, hence he has been refered to as the "tree man"
